About Us:

Mater Plena is a dedicated non-medical nursing home that provides compassionate, personalized care to seniors in a warm and safe environment. We are currently seeking caring, reliable, and dedicated caregivers to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a caregiver at Mater Plena, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will assist with daily living activities, ensuring safety, and providing emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Support mobility and transfers to ensure comfort and safety
• Prepare and serve meals based on dietary needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Offer companionship and engage residents in meaningful conversation
• Assist with medication reminders and report any changes in health or behavior to nursing staff
• Perform light housekeeping duties (e.g., tidying rooms, laundry)
• Foster a positive, compassionate atmosphere for all residents

Qualifications:

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred, but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift or assist residents with mobility as needed
